Will Smith
Primary PE Specialist
Will started teaching in one of the very first specialist sports colleges in 1997. He soon chose to specialise in Primary PE and has been delivering and supporting primary school PE for over 25 years. Nowadays, Will spends much of his time training teachers and creating PE resources. His experience and expertise is crucial to the quality of our service.
Aimi Beresford
Head of PE Support
After a professional footballing career in America, Aimi returned home and joined the PE Planning team in 2015. Aimi's PE experience is hugely varied, from the leafy-suburbs to large inner-city schools. Over the past few years Aimi has been responsible for developing our Dance and Gymnastics resources, acclaimed by many schools throughout the UK. Aimi's knowledge of the PE Curriculum assures schools of the highest possible standard.
Jason Clark
PE and Events Advisor
When Jason joined our team in 2017, he was responsible for the delivery and support of PE in a small cluster of primary schools. Since then, Jason has moved on to training and leading a large team of PE specialists across a range of primary school clusters and academies. As well as his PE specialism, Jason also heads up our sports festival and sports day programmes.

What is especially notable is that skills are based on the age of the child so badminton in P7 is the culmination of skills developed in P1-P6. The planning is superb. I have joined this website as it is the most holistic planning I have found.
Each teacher, from Early Years to Year 6 and our SNRB, have their own log in and detailed progressive lesson plans for the required year group whilst also being able to access whole school resources and lessons. Lesson plans are so easy to use with illustrations for demonstration meaning I find it even more simple to follow!! The whole school curriculum map is broad, balanced and coverage is superb for supporting the new Curriculum for Wales allowing time for exploration and collaboration. There is an extensive range of sports and skills development opportunities for all age groups. I love the easy to navigate website and there is always a rapid response from the support team should you need it. Knowing that every teacher in our school is using PEPLANNING is peace of mind that we are delivering a consistent, enriched and progressive PE curriculum.
I find the range of activities good and there is some good progression across year groups. This allows me to assess progress easily.
