Overview
With our PE Teacher Training, we help transform your PE Curriculum and provide full training to all staff. We work with you to review your current PE curriculum, and then create a bespoke programme that meets Ofsted requirements. Ultimately, our PE Teacher Training enriches the learning, inclusion and engagement of your pupils.
Stage 1: Review meeting
- An online meeting to review your current PE curriculum.
- We will discuss the needs of your school, facilities, equipment, experience/confidence of teachers and what engages your pupils.
Stage 2: A bespoke PE Curriculum
- Our specialist instructors will create a programme that suits your staff, pupils and facilities.
- Themes for teacher training modules can be structured as follows:
1. Delivering an outstanding PE Lesson:
Positive behaviour management and reinforcement in primary school PE.
Delivering a progressive and appropriately challenged PE lesson.
Reward systems in PE.
2. The PE Curriculum:

3. Improving PE, Sport and Physical Activity across school:
Supporting and upskilling teachers with their PE.

Stage 3: Online PE CPD Training
- PE teacher training to all staff to help them understand your PE curriculum and the part they play in making it successful.

What is especially notable is that skills are based on the age of the child so badminton in P7 is the culmination of skills developed in P1-P6. The planning is superb. I have joined this website as it is the most holistic planning I have found.
Each teacher, from Early Years to Year 6 and our SNRB, have their own log in and detailed progressive lesson plans for the required year group whilst also being able to access whole school resources and lessons. Lesson plans are so easy to use with illustrations for demonstration meaning I find it even more simple to follow!! The whole school curriculum map is broad, balanced and coverage is superb for supporting the new Curriculum for Wales allowing time for exploration and collaboration. There is an extensive range of sports and skills development opportunities for all age groups. I love the easy to navigate website and there is always a rapid response from the support team should you need it. Knowing that every teacher in our school is using PEPLANNING is peace of mind that we are delivering a consistent, enriched and progressive PE curriculum.
I find the range of activities good and there is some good progression across year groups. This allows me to assess progress easily.
