In EYFS Working with Others, children should run with control and coordination, negotiating space successfully, adjusting speed or direction to avoid obstacles. Children should develop basic ball control and be aware of boundaries set and of behavioral expectations. Our EYFS Working with Others lessons develop relationships between peers, allowing children to respond to what others are saying, and accept the needs of others.

Working with Others lessons are a crucial part of early years and foundation PE.  They give opportunities for children to develop handling and manipulation skills and develop control and coordination in both large and small movements – important aspects of the DfE Guidance and Early Learning Goals. Primary School Working with Others is also great for building confidence, developing social skills and allowing children to work as part of a team, understanding and following rules.

All our PE lesson plans are created by PE Specialists and include all the resources required to deliver a complete Unit of Work.  Each lesson plan includes full guidance, including illustrations, and you can choose to download either a quick reference plan or a full lesson plan.
