Fun & Games lessons are an important part of early years and foundation PE. They provide opportunities for children to move confidently and develop fundamental movement skills, in particular locomotor and manipulation skills such as running, jumping, throwing, catching, and gathering. Primary School Fun & Games is also great for building confidence, developing social skills and allowing children to handle different pieces of equipment.

All PE Planning lesson plans are created by PE Specialists and include all the resources required to deliver a complete Unit of Work.  Each lesson plan includes full guidance, including illustrations, and you can choose to download either a quick reference plan or a full lesson plan. Our EYFS Fun & Games lessons use the DfE guidance and Early Learning Goals and allow you to deliver fun, engaging and rewarding Fun & Games lessons to your EYFS class.  Best of all, our Fun & Games plans are quick and easy to download and follow, making your life easier!

In EYFS Fun & Games, children can move freely, with pleasure and confidence in a range of skillful ways.  Children should learn to accept the needs of others, turn taking and sharing.  Our Fun & Games lesson plans encourage children to run in a controlled way, changing speed and direction to avoid obstacles. Our EYFS Fun & Games lessons also give children opportunities to be aware of boundaries set and behaviour expectations.
